Scryway

Card 22 of 36 · playing card Q♦ · neutral: coloured by its neighbours

Crossroads

choice · options · a fork · alternatives

Meaning

A choice to make. The Crossroads (also called the Paths or the Way) shows two or more directions and the freedom, or burden, of deciding. It can also mean doubling: two of something, a second option.

As a person

Someone undecided, or someone with several paths open.

In combinations

First in a pair, the Crossroads names a choice or a fork in the road. Second, it describes the card before it: something that offers alternatives or must be chosen between.

  • Clover + Crossroads: A lucky choice: a second option that turns out well.
  • Crossroads + Key: The right choice; the solution lies in deciding.

As a house in the Grand Tableau

Position 22 is the house of the Crossroads. Choices: decisions, options and directions.
