What Scryway is for

Scryway offers tools for divination (tarot, Lenormand, the I Ching, runes, astrology, numerology), perception practice (remote viewing, Zener cards), dream keeping, meditation and the study of sacred texts, for reflection, practice and entertainment. Nothing on the site is medical, legal, financial or psychological advice, and no reading or chart predicts the future. Scores in the perception practices measure your results against chance; they are not proof of any ability. Decisions you make remain your own.

The meditation, breathing and sleep tools are for relaxation. Stop if you feel unwell, never use them while driving, and speak to a doctor first if you have a health condition that breathing exercises could affect.

Your account and your content

You are responsible for the email account or Google account you sign in with. Everything you save (notes, sessions, dreams, charts, decks and photos) is yours. You give Scryway only the permission needed to store them and show them back to you. You can delete them, or your whole account, at any time from your account page.

Acceptable use

Do not use the site to store unlawful content, to attack the service, or to access data that is not yours, and do not share spreads whose names or descriptions are abusive, unlawful or advertising. Upload only photos you have the right to use, and save another person’s birth details only with their agreement. Accounts used that way may be suspended or removed, and shared spreads that break these rules may be taken down.

The site itself

Card meanings, chart readings, translations and other original text written for Scryway belong to Scryway. Quotations from A. E. Waite’s Pictorial Key to the Tarot (1911), the historical tarot decks and the sacred-text editions in the library are in the public domain, as each one’s page notes; the Soimoi deck is used under CC BY 4.0. Remote-viewing target photographs come from Wikimedia Commons under the licence credited with each image, and birthplaces come from GeoNames (CC BY 4.0). Astrological positions are calculated with the Swiss Ephemeris through our separate, open-source ephemeris service. The site is provided as it is, without warranty, and may change or go offline without notice. If it does go offline for good, we will try to give reasonable notice so you can copy your notes.
